Are Orac skirting boards water-resistant?

Yes, our Duropolymer® skirting boards are highly water-resistant and ideal for humid areas such as bathrooms, kitchens or spa-like spaces. Just make sure all joints are sealed properly with our adhesive for long-lasting protection.

Can I paint Orac skirting boards?

Definitely. All profiles come pre-primed and ready to paint, allowing you to match or contrast with your wall and floor colours. Use high-quality water-based paint for best results.

Can Orac skirting boards hide cables or imperfections?

Yes. Many of our profiles are designed with a cavity on the back to conceal electrical cables or irregular wall joints. It's the perfect solution for a clean, seamless finish.

Are the skirting boards suitable for renovations?

Absolutely. Our cover skirting profiles are specifically designed to be installed over existing skirting or hide expansion gaps. They allow you to refresh a space quickly without removing old profiles.

What are Orac skirting boards made of?

Our skirting boards are made from Duropolymer®, a high-density, impact-resistant material that is both durable and lightweight. It offers the refined look of plaster, with the strength and practicality of modern engineering.

How should I cut and install the profiles?

Use the recommended Orac DecoFix adhesive (Pro or Power) to install the profiles. The back of the profile has a V-groove, which makes it easy to apply the adhesive with the tube nozzle.

Use FX400 DecoFix Ultra to glue the joints between the profiles.

Finish by filling the joints with DecoFiller to make them smooth and invisible.
