Art Deco in a new light
Art Deco has always been a style that seeks clarity: clear lines, strong geometry and a sense of direction. A style that once symbolised progress, but is now taking on new meaning. Not as a repetition of what once was, but as a reinterpretation of how we live today.
In this collection, we bring that design language back to life: lighter, calmer and with greater freedom. Art Deco, reinterpreted as a living contemporary interior: respectful of its heritage, but unquestionably of today.
Interior architect Aurélie Penneman knows Belgium’s Art Deco heritage inside out: the geometry of the Palais Stoclet, the rhythm of the Van Buuren Museum, the proportions of the Villa Empain. She does not see it as something to be preserved but more as something that can be set in motion.
In her interpretation, classics are not copied, but translated. A skirting board that appears upside down on the wall. A cornice that becomes a frame. A panel that almost becomes a sculpture thanks to its star-shaped installation. Clearly rooted in Art Deco, but never weighed down by it. Always light, precise and contemporary.
The heritage that continues to inspire
Art Deco is defined by refinement: soft geometry, rich materials and carefully balanced proportions that bring tranquillity. These principles form an underlying theme in this curated collection.
You recognise it in the rhythm of the lines. In the way light falls on the profiles. In the balance between simplicity and presence.
Whether you opt for a subtle accent or a graphic statement, every element is designed to brings calm and balance. Every profile is an invitation to play with rhythm, height and depth.
Art Deco is a style rich in detail. Its strength lies in layering: a carefully built structure that adds depth to interiors.
The products in this collection have been chosen to support precisely that. Clean lines that provide direction. Curves that soften the overall composition. Rhythmic patterns that bring structure without becoming harsh.
Each element can stand alone, but together they form a narrative that feels elegant and consistent.
Art Deco as a contemporary language
The language of Art Deco translates surprisingly well into modern spaces. In new builds, it adds warmth and character. In renovations, it aligns with the existing rhythm of the home. It is a style based on timeless proportions.
