At Orac, we see sustainability in the same way: as something that grows, layer by layer, choice by choice, year after year. Every wall begins with a blank canvas. Full of potential. A form yet to take shape. We are proud to share our new Sustainability and CSRD Report, showing how our vision of sustainability continues to grow stronger. Not as a separate chapter, but as an integral part of who we are: Designers of architectural elements and builders of a future that feels responsible and thoughtfully shaped.
Our vision: responsibility that grows with every innovation.

Our sustainability story is built on three core beliefs: good for planet, good for people, and good for community. As Yves Taillieu, our CEO, puts it so well: We innovate to enable new forms of creativity. Sustainability is the natural foundation that underpins it. In the new report, you’ll find a clear view of where we stand today and where we’re headed next:
- Our steps toward defossilisation, with more recycled and plant-based raw materials
- Our progress in decarbonisation, from production to energy use
- Our growing focus on circularity, recycling, and end-of-life
- How we empower our people and support our community
- Transparency in line with CSRD guidelines, with clear targets and measurable progress"

Sustainability in every layer of our operations
From our CO₂-neutral sites in Ostend and Lipany to partnerships that increase social impact: every part of our operations contributes to a greater whole. In the report, you’ll find, among other things:
- How we have been using 100% renewable electricity in our facilities since 2022
- How we are scaling up recycling and water reuse
- How we integrate more recycled and plant-based materials year after year
- How, through the Good Side of Walls Fund, we invest in education, social projects, and equal opportunities
We want to show that sustainability doesn’t have to be complex. That it can be understandable, measurable, and part of a company’s everyday rhythm.
