Orac at Salone del Mobile 2026

Milan, April 21–26 – Pavilion 18 | Stand E.08

Step aboard the Orac Cruise: a contemporary interpretation of art déco, inspired by our Belgian roots and the elegant travel culture of the early twentieth century. The stand embraces lines, rhythm, and geometry, and demonstrates how wall and ceiling finishes can give direction and character to a space.

A space that begins with imagination

Our stand takes the form of a luxurious cruise. Not as a reference to distant destinations, but to atmosphere, imagination, and timeless aesthetics.

Rhythm, layering, and clear forms create an interior that feels like a destination in itself.

The power of clear forms

For the art déco story, interior architect Aurélie Penneman selected a series of architectural elements that demonstrate how detailed and precise the style can be.

She selected products that play with light and shadow, with layers and proportions. They bring the expressive elegance of historical art déco into the present and show how every line can create calm and direction.

Within the Orac Cruise, these elements form a cohesive whole. They connect the spaces and show how an interior finds balance when every form is deliberately chosen.

Art déco with a soft undertone

Further along the stand, you encounter a second interpretation of art déco: the new collection by Roelfien Vos.

Where classic art déco focuses on strong geometry, she introduces soft curves, refined details, and a calm rhythm. The result is a softer, more fluid version of the same style: recognizable, yet contemporary and accessible.

The combination of both visions creates a balanced dialogue: clean geometry alongside soft movement, clarity alongside nuance. This gives rise to a contemporary interpretation of art déco with a warm, timeless appeal.

A stand as a route

Pavilion 18 | Stand E.08

The Orac Cruise is more than a stand. It is a route that guides you through different atmospheres: from an open deck to an intimate bar, from bold lines to flowing curves.

Both collections have their own place, yet form one story. A story in which art déco is not confined to the past, but evolves into a vibrant design language for today.
