Orac wins the award for Best First Sustainability Report

At Orac, sustainability is at the heart of how we design, produce and innovate. That is why we are proud to share that our very first CSRD report has been awarded Best First Sustainability Report at the Belgian Awards for Sustainability Reports 2025.

More than a recognition, this award confirms that we are on the right track: building a transparent, measurable and future-focused sustainability strategy that supports designers, architects and partners in making more informed choices.

What this recognition reflects

The jury highlighted the clarity of our approach, from the structure of the report to the way we map our value chain, identify our impacts and set ambitious, measurable targets.

Although Orac is not yet subject to CSRD requirements, we chose to align our first report with the principles of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards. This allows us to improve transparency, strengthen comparability and anticipate the reality that many of our partners already work within.

For those applying our products in residential or commercial interiors, this translates into more accessible and reliable information. From material origin to production processes and long-term ambitions. It provides a clearer view of where we stand today and the direction we are taking.

A report built for clarity and progress

Creating our first CSRD report brought together expertise from across Orac. It allowed us to gather our data in a structured way, establish baselines and reflect openly on the topics where we can create the most impact. The result is a document that combines technical detail with clear storytelling, making our sustainability journey easier to navigate and understand.

This clarity is essential not only for clients and partners, but also for our internal teams as we translate ambition into action. The recognition from BAS reinforces the value of this work and encourages us to continue raising our standards.
